Child safety standards
Guessmate is a dating app only for people 18 and older. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any sexualised content involving minors.
Who can use Guessmate
- The app is for adults only. We do not accept a date of birth under 18 when creating a profile.
- If you believe an account belongs to a minor, report it (see below) and we will review it and close the account.
What is prohibited
Our Terms of Use prohibit sharing content involving minors, sexual content involving minors, solicitation or grooming of minors, and any illegal content. Such content leads to removal and a permanent ban.
How to report
- In the app: open a profile, a game or a chat and tap Report. You can also Block a person; blocking closes the game and chat immediately.
- By email: [email protected] — write "Child safety" in the subject.
What we do about reports
- We review reports about child safety as a priority.
- We remove the content and close the account of anyone who breaches these standards.
- Uploaded profile photos go through automated checks before they are shown to other people.
- Where the law requires it, we report confirmed CSAM and exploitation to the competent national authority and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we cooperate with law enforcement.
