Guessmate Terms of Use

Closed testing edition, October 26, 2026.

1. About the service

Guessmate is a dating app built around a game: you guess a person's answers to their profile questions, correct answers unlock their photos and secrets, and a chat opens after mutual interest. The service is run by Sergey Golubnik, an individual based in Russia. Contacts: [email protected], support — [email protected].

The app is currently in closed testing: features may change, contain bugs or be temporarily unavailable.

2. Who can use Guessmate

Only people 18 and older who provide truthful information about themselves. One person — one account. By installing the app and creating an account, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

3. Rules

You must not:

• scam others: ask for money, passwords, SMS or email codes, card details; send phishing links; move people to other messengers to deceive them;
• spam, advertise, or sell goods or services, including sexual services;
• impersonate someone else or use other people's photos;
• insult, threaten, harass, stalk or discriminate against others;
• share content involving minors, violence, or illegal content;
• post explicit photos on your profile (profiles are visible to everyone);
• try to bypass service restrictions or collect data automatically.

Chats are private: nobody reads or moderates them. The server automatically flags links and contact details in messages, and the recipient sees a warning. If someone breaks the rules, report and block them: blocking immediately closes the game and chat for both of you.

4. Reports and restrictions

You can report someone from the chat, the game or their profile. Reports go to our support team. If 4 different people, or a notable share of everyone you talked to, report an account within 30 days, it is automatically sent for review: the profile is hidden and games and chats are closed until a decision is made. After review we either lift the restriction or block the account. Only reports from people who actually interacted with you count. If you disagree with a decision, contact support.

For rule violations we may hide content, limit features or block the account.

5. Your content

Your photos, texts and voice messages remain yours. You allow us to store them and show them to other users within the game rules so the service can work. This permission ends when the content or account is deleted. Do not upload anything you do not have rights to. Profile photos and texts are checked automatically and may be hidden if they break the rules.

6. Generated questions and characters

AI-suggested questions are drafts — review them before publishing. Character accounts are always labeled as "character" and are not real people.

7. Plus

Some features (feed filter, another city) are available with a Plus subscription. Terms and price are shown before you subscribe; subscriptions are managed through the app store.

8. Account deletion

You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Account & support → Delete account) or at https://guessmate.me/delete-account/. You can cancel within 30 days; after that data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not verify users' identity and are not responsible for their behavior outside the app. Be careful when meeting people and never send money or codes to people you met online. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may change these terms and will announce it in the app or on this page. By continuing to use the app after changes, you accept the new version. Questions and disputes are handled through support: [email protected].
